Edward D. Green was born to the proud parents of the late Robert Green, Sr. and Johnette Hope Green on November 23, 1966. Edward was reared by his mother, Johnette and stepfather, the late James Campbell, Jr. His mother acquainted him with early childhood religious training and moral values based on biblical standards. Edward graduated from high school at the age of seventeen and upon completion he enlisted into the US Navy. He was led to the Lord Jesus Christ while serving in the US Navy at the age of 17. Edward had the distinct opportunity to be baptized in the River of Jordan, the same place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Shortly afterwards, the Lord called him to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He started working towards his education by attending college. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Biblical Studies; Theology. Edward was ordained in 1996 within the Baptist denomination by .Dr. Christopher A. Bullock at the historical Eighth Street Baptist Church in Wilmington, DE. He is also ordained as an Elder in 2014 by Dr. Raymond D. Williams at Faith Harvest Worship Center. He has served as a Director of Evangelism, Spiritual Oversight of ministers, deacons, teachers, security and ushers. Elder Green is also an associate professor at Harvest School of Advance Biblical Studies. Edward is married to the former Vernoquet K. Cowan. They have five children collectively; Jayd, Vania, Louis, Tia and Kayla.
