Herb Caldwell grew up in a small central Illinois town, where he learned to serve God by
helping others. He committed his heart to Christ as a child, and has continued developing this
personal relationship. Having been raised in a home with ministers, he learned first-hand the
value of Christian service. Over the years, he has held most every position in a local assembly,
including several years as lead pastor in his hometown. Along with his wife of 23 years
LaTosha, they believe in demonstrating the power of Christ’s love by reaching beyond the four
walls of the sanctuary. They led several outreaches that met the needs of a diverse cross section
of that community. Known for a biblical teaching style that is doctrinally grounded yet engaging, Herb believes the word is to be lived out daily.
Herb studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana Campaign where he completed an
undergraduate degree in sociology and competed as a member of men’s basketball. Having
earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois Springfield, and completed all
coursework toward his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Herb has had
a 20-year career as an administrator in higher education.
Music is a primary love; Herb writes, produces, engineers and plays instruments. He and
LaTosha own All IN Music Production and Music House Recording Studio, which are music and
media companies that prioritizes projects for and from the community of Faith. Whether it is
greeting folks at a soup kitchen, teaching the scriptures, or helping a young artist arrange a song,
Herb is happy to be walking in purpose and sharing the gift of God with others. The Caldwell’s
are blessed with children ages 20, 19, 16 and they reside in the St. Louis area.
